by Carol Frye

The vote is in and this year's exhibition was a success! Donna
Kelly, of The Lakeland Ledger wrote "The 81 piece exhibit is as
varied as the locations of the artists whose work comprises it." The
show was on exhibit from May 1 thru May 30, 2006.
The exhibition judge, James Yood, Adjunct Full Professor of Art
History at the Chicago Institute of Art, was given a few hours before
the reception to select the awards.
Theater Winter Haven is located directly across the hall from the
gallery and gheater goers joined the crowd filling the gallery during
the opening reception.  Much of the food, provided by Ridge Art
Association volunteers reflectd that it was Cinco De Mayo
