HOW TO APPLY:

Membership is by invitation only.

To make
application, you must be sponsored by two artist members and
the Area Chair for the county of residence of the applicant, all of whom
must sign the application form as an indication of approval of the
candidate for membership.

After the deadline for receipt of the application, a committee of current
members of FLAG will accept or decline the applicant for membership.


Qualifications for Membership

The members of FLAG must be engaged professionally in the visual arts or have
training or competence in the visual arts.

Members must reside in Florida at least six months of the year.

Applicants must submit professional background information as follows:

Inclusion in two National, Regional or State juried exhibitions sponsored by a
professional art organization or institution

OR

Be a recipient of two awards in a State or Regional accredited art museum
sponsored exhibition that has been adjudicated.  One of these two awards may
be substituted with an invitation to exhibit by a qualified professional art
organization or institution, or by winning a Best of Show or First Place Award in
an exhibition sponsored by an established art organization and adjudicated by a
recognized world art professional.
