QUALIFYING CRITERIA FOR MEMBERSHIP :

1.  Must reside in Florida at least 6 months of each year.
2.  Media accepted: drawing, painting, graphics, mixed media, photography,sculpture.
3.  Recognition within the past 10 years as follows:
a.  Inclusion in 2 different major national, regional, or state juried exhibitions sponsored by a professional art
organization or institution, OR
b.  Recipient of 2 awards in state, regional or accredited art museum sponsored exhibitions, juried
and/or judged.  One of the above may be substituted by:
c.  A personal invitation to exhibit in a show sponsored by a professional art organization or institution...
                                            OR
d.  Winning an award in an exhibition sponsored by a permanently established art organization, juried by a
recognized art world professional.
4.  Substantive proof of above recognition. (Letters, photos, new clippings,etc.
5.  Six slides of your current work. Identify the slides: name, number, title & media, and size.
*Note: have a corresponding description sheet with this information.
6.  Resume’: Include information pertinent to your art career,i.e., employment, education and/or collections.
7.  $5.00 application fee must accompany application to defray handling expense.

DEADLINES:

Nov. 1 - applications to area chairperson
Dec. 1 - application need to be sent to the membership chairperson.

THE JURY WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE JANUARY OR FEBRUARY BOARD MEETING.

YOUR MATERIALS WILL BE RETURNED WITH THE ACCEPTANCE OR REJECTION LETTERS AS SOON AS
POSSIBLE AFTER THE JURYING PROCESS.
